2025 WIRE First Annual Workshop
Sveriges Riksbank is organizing the first annual research workshop of the Women in Research in the European System of Central Banks (WIRE) Network, which will take place in Stockholm, Sweden, on June 5, 2025. The aim of the workshops is to provide an informal forum for female ESCB researchers to present their work, exchange views and networking.
Submissions
We would like to invite submissions from all active ESCB female researchers working on topics that are in line with the ESCB mission. Authors are invited to submit theoretical and empirical papers mainly in the areas of monetary policy (MP), financial stability (FS), inflation drivers and dynamics (ID), macro-finance (MF), financial intermediation (FI), labor economics, competitiveness and structural changes (LCS) and international macroeconomics (IM).

About the Network
WIRE stands for Women in Research in the European System of Central Banks (ESCB). The goal of the WIRE network is to encourage a variety of viewpoints in economic research and policy-making, by offering networking opportunities to women within the ESCB, and by showcasing their research on topics that are in line with the ESCB mission.
ESCB researchers are welcome to express interest in participating in the workshops as discussants or as observers, even if they do not submit a paper. The participation as observers is encouraged, irrespective of age, disability, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, race, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, or other characteristics.
